THE PLANETS BY GUSTAV HOLST

In Typography II studio, students were assigned to create a poster aligned with how a piece of music sounded. They were not initially given the name of the piece to prevent influence on their intial thumbails. They were encouraged to use an analog process, such as xerography. The various elements of typography represent the three opposing forces in Gustav's work: horns, percussion, strings.
